TOUGH TIME DON’T LAST, TOUGH PEOPLE DO

A message to the Ogun state youth

We are in a time when our sanity is being tortured by the pandemic while humanity is obliterating, A time when self-isolation is the cure to a ravaging virus, while hunger girdled our senses. A time when religious centers, schools and other public outlets are on pad and locks. This is a time when fear of the unknown tamed human minds.

With the means of livelihood being pin down, economy is immensely suffering as hunger has now blindfolded many harbinger of morals and channel their thoughts towards immorality. Daylight robbery, cult clashes and kidnapping are now the order of the day. And these won’t solve our problems but add more to its weight.

Remember, this time shall pass, it might be more painful than a kidney stone but shall fade away like smoke into thin air. Obviously, The heart of the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun is beating steadily for his citizen’s welfarism and he deserve nothing but showers of accolades for his responsiveness.

This is not the end, it is the beginning of something bigger. The light that await us after passing through this tunnel shall shine brighter than the sun. we are in this together, no social classes exemption, religious differentiation or tribal segregation.

However, Do not reduce yourself to a nuisance, a thief, an indiscriminate beggar and a nonentity in the course of survival. Rather, be resilient in the fight against crimes, be a custodian of morality, preach the gospel of the preventive measures against this deadly virus to the people, extend helping hands towards the less privilege with courtesy if opportune and above all, be a law abiding citizen.

Let’s not panic, soon enough we shall scale through alive and once again be able to shake hands with our counterparts and colleagues as we used to, sleeping with our two eyes closed will be achievable while financial buoyancy will be restored and we’ll be back to the yielding state we once were. Let’s all maintain peace to avert havoc that the lockdown might pose.
