The Honourable member representing Ketu State Constituency (Yewa North II) at the Ogun state house of assembly, Hon Wahab Egungbohun has appeal to educated stakeholders in his Constituency to give continuous orientation to members of his community on why they need to adhere strictly to the federal and state government directives as regards the spread of the virus.
Honourable Wahab in his words said “The continuous rise in number of the people infected with the Corona Virus in the country calls for serious medical attention and all hands must be on deck to stop the spread through continuous sensitization.
Honourable Wahab made it known that he has been in contact with respective stakeholders in his Constituency to continuously give adequate orientation to the people and give them reasons why they need to obey the government most especially as regarding social distancing and continuous hand washing.
He also made it know that he has been in contact with concerned authorities in providing more relief materials (Face mask and hand Sanitizers) to augment the ones available.
“Since the outbreak of the virus in the state, hand Sanitizers price has increased by over 300% but that will not stop us from making it available for ourselves in order to stop the spread within the state. I will implore all my constituents to obey and practice all laid down guidelines for the benefit of ourselves. Social gathering still remains prohibited and should be avoided, our market men and women should also make use of face mask and sanitizers frequently. Services should be rendered from home while we pray to God almighty to protect us against the virus”, He added.
