Democracy they say, is the encapsulation of the people’s and government’s abilities for a progressive change. Democracy brings sovereignty and this eventually lead to the separation of power for check and balance to prevail for the full exercise of government power in the actualization of its full potentials.
The legislative branch is one of three divisions of government that works in conjunction with the executive and judicial branches. Its main responsibility is the creation of laws for the benefit of the state and its entirety. Today marks the activation day of the 9th National assembly.
A day where a man of great valour is saddled with the full responsibility of passing, enhancing, enacting and sponsoring bills that will be of full benefit to all and sundry of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Our distinguish member of the 9th Senate assembly, Senator Tolu Odebiyi had made lots of promises which will surely be fullfiled, He will work hand in hand with his counterparts in the assembly to draw federal force in the developmental programme of OGUN State and the Nation at large. He has also made vows to the governor of Ogun State, Prince dapo Abiodun, to be a special stakeholder in the better deal as initiated by responsible and responsive governor.
Now is the time for the change we thirst for. The transformation of Ogun West, Ogun state and the Nation at large has started today.
